Career Notes
2006-07 Season: Appeared in his second NHL season, first with Anaheim. Led team in PIM. Led the League with 18 fights. Scored first goal as a Duck, Mar. 28 @ CHI. Made his Ducks’ debut, Nov. 15 vs. PHI. Played two games with Colorad Made his Colorado debut on Oct. 25 vs. WSH. Missed nine games due to a bruised shoulder Oct. 4-23. Claimed off waivers by the Avalanche a day before the season opener on Oct. 3.
2005-06 Season: Led all Kings rookies with 55 games played…Ranked second on the club in penalty minutes with 138 and led the Kings with 18 major penalties…Recorded four of his five points in October and was a +5 for the month…Made his NHL debut at Dallas on Oct. 5…Recorded his first career NHL goal and a “Gordie Howe Hat Trick” on Oct. 20 at Dallas…Collected his second goal of the season on Jan. 21 vs. San Jose…Was even or plus in 49 of his 55 games…Missed a total of 21 games with an ankle sprain (Nov. 19-Dec. 19 and Dec. 29-Jan. 9)
2004-05 Season: Finished second on the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) in penalty minutes with 247…Four of his 14 goals during the season came on the power play…Registered four game-winning goals…Appeared in three games for Reading (ECHL).
2003-04: In his first pro season appeared in 57 games for the Monarchs with 126 penalty minutes (fourth on the club)…Scored his first professional goal against the Providence Bruins on Nov. 29…Debuted with the Monarchs after completing his senior season at Princeton University.
1999-2003: Attended Princeton University where he played four seasons for the Tigers hockey team from 1999-00 to 2002-03…Recorded 52 points (20g/32a) and 119 penalty minutes in 111 career games.
Was a three-time member of the ECAC All-Academic Team…When Parros made his NHL debut on Oct. 5, 2005, he became the seventh Princeton Tiger to make it to the NHL…He and Jeff Halpern (Dallas Stars) are the only current NHL players who attended Princeton.
